The Violet Richardson Award program recognizes girls ages 13-18 for demonstrating leadership in their communities by identifying issues important to them and creating solutions and getting involved to make the world a better place. In addition to recognizing girls for their volunteering efforts, the program provides girls with leadership opportunities to encourage and support their commitment to serve their communities.
This award honors girls striving to make the world a better place. Based solely on volunteer efforts and vision to make a difference, this award recognizes girls volunteering in their community and demonstrating leadership skills. Leadership is defined as having identified a social, political and/or economic need, locally or globally, and taking action to address the need and bring about positive change. Cash awards are granted to recognize and support extraordinary girls.
If you are a girl in Grant county, WA between the ages of 13 – 18, share your story for a chance to be awarded a $500 cash grant for yourself and $100 donation to the non-profit of your choice.
